The Netherlands, our beautiful “frog country,” sits several meters below sea level, a unique situation that makes us both innovative and vulnerable. As global warming progresses, the ice caps melt, causing our sea levels to rise. These developments pose a threat but also offer opportunities for adaptation. How do we, as humans, respond to this changing environment, driven by the rise in sea levels?
