S.L.O.W. FASHION

By CARLOTTA RONSCHKE

A Zero waste recipe with all the ingredients we already have on our planet. S.L.O.W. FASHION (sustainable, local, organic, whole) is a food-to-fiber movement that makes it fashionable to recycle your food waste. A collaborative circularity that transforms our leftovers into new garments, motivates us and makes us less guilty about consuming and better about the role we play in our society.

FEED THE CHANGE SHAPE THE FUTURE

In 10 years, the trend of recycling and local production is crucial in a circular economy yet needs a more community-oriented purpose, making it easier and accessible for everyone.

With this innovative process, you are able to transform 1 kg of food waste into 1 T-shirt, with that the Brand is able to divert 9 kg of CO2 from the atmosphere, and 4 g of microplastics from our waterways.

We have the power to use one of the most abundant waste sources – food and overturn it with one of the most polluting industries- fashion.

Showcasing that fashion can be circular, social, and local at the same time.

WE HAVE THE POWER TO USE ONE OF THE MOST ABUNDANT WASTE SOURCES- FOOD AND OVERTURN IT WITH ONE OF THE MOST POLLUTING INDUSTRIES- FASHION.

The future is not a place we are going to, but a place we create.

S.L.O.W. fashion is an experiential practice and creative process, between tradition and innovation, thinking and doing, local and global.  Giving back an identity through recycling. Driven by a desire to maximise benefits and minimise the negative impact on our planet.

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together
